From shrenik shah's residence Work on this project completed in 2001, when i was working with Aakruti Architects. Client Mr Shrenik Shah, local politician of vapi, Gujarat.India. The Brief; Speaking visually, the interiors would convey a feeling of lightness, of floating elements. Modern look with simple elements and neat defined edges.Everything would be custom designed down to the last chair. The color palette would be in the direction of ' warm and hospitable'pastel colors picked from the natural environment with a supporting accent color, different for each room. Scope of design; Living rooms, Dining room, Bedrooms with walk in wardrobes, in short everything below the ceiling. This chair in the visual above weighted 3.5 kilos, easily lifted with one hand is in contrast with the dining table whose visual center of gravity is way way low.
