From shrenik shah's residence The idea was to negate the 'enclosure' of the BOXY living room space. On a functional level , this ceiling element had to support fans and lights. The visual language follows the Brief. Techinical Details : The whole assembly weights about 800kg. The wood surface is plywood veneered and polished. The lights are 75 watt halogens, not really heating up the air because of the shape of the ceiling. In a nutshell, the design takes the 'false' out of the false ceiling.
